Collect your character's diary, one page at a time!

• Obtain it through What's in Your Bag during a conversation

• 1 diary note can be obtained per chat room

• After getting the diary, keep chatting to continue adding to your diary story

⚠️ Heads up!

• You can receive a diary in each chat room.

• If you've been using multiple chat rooms, there can be multiple diaries in a single character slot.

• If you have multiple chat rooms with one character, the diary is saved under the chat room name.

• Deleting a diary item will erase the existing records.

🎁 Existing items (items + rare items + snap shop) can still be obtained as usual!

New Feature

You can now hide your private characters from the Creator tab. Use the Hide feature to keep your creator list nice and organized.

Creator Guide

Hide

1. In the Creator tab, select the private character you want to hide > tap the settings menu at the bottom right of the character image.

2. Select Hide to immediately remove it from the Creator tab.

View & Restore Hidden Characters

1. Toggle Show hidden characters on the right side of the Creator tab to view your hidden characters.

2. Select Unhide from the character menu to bring it back to your creator list.

How to Use

1. Go to your profile page

2. Select the My Comments menu

3. Browse your comments in order from newest to oldest

4. Tap a comment to jump straight to where it appears

📚 Story Mode chapter display has been updated!

From 1,000 chapters onwards, progress is now shown in Vol. + Ch. format.

• Ch. 999 → Ch. 999

• Ch. 1,000 → Vol. 1

• Ch. 1,500 → Vol. 1 Ch. 500

Reach Vol. 1 and you'll automatically receive 50 tickets. Rewards are given again each time you reach a new volume.

You can use your tickets to enter the Melting Lotto on your My Page.

Improvement

We've improved how character setting limits work for global creators.

Previously, the same character limit (2,800 characters) was applied regardless of language. However, the amount of content you can express within the same character count varies by language, making it difficult for some creators to fully describe their characters.

Now, when you enable PRO mode, the limit is based on tokens — the units AI actually uses to understand text. This means you get an equal amount of setting space no matter what language you write in.

Creator Guide

1. Go to Step 2 (Character Details) on the character creation/editing page

2. Turn on the PRO toggle in the upper right

3. A token counter (N / 2,600 tokens) will appear above the character settings input

4. Your token usage updates in real time as you type, with highlighting to alert you as you approach the limit

5. Tap the ⓘ icon next to the counter for a brief explanation of tokens

We have exciting news to share as April begins!

We've expanded the Melting Public Character Incentive 3-Month Promotion to give more creators access to the benefits.

Previously, only creators who completed the promotion sign-up were eligible for incentives. Starting now, all 'Public' characters with paid conversations from March through May are automatically included in the incentive point promotion!

1. Regarding Your Content All content must be your own original work. If any of the following apply, you will be immediately disqualified and any points issued will be fully recovered.

• Use of images with unknown sources or unclear copyright

• Unauthorized use or plagiarism of another creator's 'one-line dialogue', 'opening scene', or 'description'

• Content that violates Melting's service policies and guidelines

• If AI-generation tools are used, the tool's terms of service must permit commercial use and redistribution; the creator bears full responsibility for any related disputes.

2. Restrictions on Misuse

• Participants found using fraudulent means will be immediately disqualified, all issued points will be fully recovered, and service access may be restricted.

• Any activity that disrupts operations — including participating through abnormal means, submitting false information, exploiting system errors, or simply copying others' content (including translation) — is considered abuse and will result in loss of promotion benefits.

3. Operational Notice

• Partner creators are excluded from this promotion.

• The content of this promotion may be adjusted or terminated early without prior notice depending on operational circumstances.
